Join us for our 4th annual getaway!
Learn how to safely identify and sustainably harvest wild plants, and how to cook them into delicious plant based meals, in an intimate learning experience.
Spend 2 nights at Camp Cadicadu in Kananaskis.

Friday, May 29th:
5pm-6pm – check-in at camp Cadicasu
6pm- welcome circle & introductions
7pm- plant based dinner
8pm- guided plant meditation walk
Saturday, May 30th:
9am- plant based breakfast
11am – foraging plant walk, led by Latifa
12:30pm – lunch break
1:30pm – continue plant walk
3pm- free time
6pm – dinner preparation with harvested plants, led by Roni
7:30pm – dinner, socializing
Sunday, May 31st:
9am – gentle morning yoga
10am – breakfast
11am – plant medicine walk
2pm- closing circle and thanks

Latifa Pelletier-Ahmed MSc is a herbalist, botanist, wild forager and educator. She is a former instructor of botany and herbal medicine at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. She holds a Master of Science in Herbal Medicine from Middlesex University, London, UK and a Bachelor or Science in Botany from the University of Calgary. She is the founder of Latifa’s Herbs and regularly teaches people to safely and ethically use wild plants as food and medicine. She is also co-owner of ALCLA Native Plants, a native plant nursery in Calgary, AB. Latifa believes conscious connection with nature is essential for a sustainable future.
Roni Zaide has been cooking in kitchens around the world since 2004. She has worked at The Coup in Calgary for 7 years, before opening her business, Roni’s Kitchen, in 2014. Roni teaches a variety of plant based cooking classes and loves harvesting her own food when possible. In December 2019 Roni published her first cookbook, which contains 100 plant-based recipes and the stories behind them.
