Cardamom Coffee Slush – a refreshing, grown-up slushy for these beautiful summer days..!

Cardamom coffee is a staple back home, usually served hot, and often prepared in a Finjan.

Cardamom is definitely one of my favourite spices, for both sweet and savoury meals and beverages. It has a unique flavour and a gentle sweetness, which compliments the natural bitterness of coffee – together they create an elevated experience of flavours and aromas!

 

Prep time: 5 mins
Serves 1

 

Nut free Gluten free

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

 

Instructions

Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender.

Serve right away.

I use 3 tbsp of ground coffee with 1 cup water (you can use an espresso machine, an Italian coffee maker or make mud/cowboy coffee).
